ABOUT ME
Okay, listen: when I find the time to tell you my musical life story, I'll be happy to share it with you in greater detail. For the time being, however, suffice it to say that I came up the same as many before me...by finding my way to the purest of blues through the releases of contemporary blues purists who helped me work my way backwards. I mean the Ry Cooders, Derek Trucks & Eric Claptons of the world who helped me find Tampa Red, Robert Nighthawk, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, and Johnny Winter, with whom I had the pleasure to open for in 1992.
I've gone from the leader of an electric blues quartet/trio act, to a long-time solo performer playing mostly in an amplified acoustic format, complete with smoky, electricfied blues harp! Barbeque!!! People, the best way to see my story for your own eyes is to see me play live...we'll take it together from there.
